One
of
Michelle’s
passions
is
color
and
the
impact
it
has
on
a
space.
Her
interest
began
while
she
was
still
in
grade
school
and
was
assigned
her
first
science
project.
With
help
from
her
father,
a
physicist,
she
made
a
color
wheel
which
explained
the
science
behind
the
colors
we
see.
The
French-based
paint
company,
Eco-
Deco, asked Michelle to create their children’s color palette, “The Lollipop Tree Nursery Collection.”
A
Founding
Member
of
the
Sustainable
Furniture

Michelle
feels
it’s
very
important
to
“recognize
the
responsibility
designers
have
for
our
environment,
natural
resources,
and
health.”
She
offers
sustainable
design
options
to
her
clients,
focusing
on
natural
and
chemical-free
products
and
finishes.
Her
children’s
furnishings
collection, which uses sustainable woods and non-toxic finishes, has won awards for its sophisticated style.

A personal note from Michelle:
"Rare is the union of beauty and purity" ~ Juvenal
I
love
design.
I
love
both
the
art
and
the
science
behind
it.
And
I
love
designing
in
a
way
that
brings beauty and health into my clients' lives.
Beauty
has
immense
power.
It
awakens
something
within
us.
A
beautiful
person,
a
beautiful
view,
a
beautiful
home
-
in
all
of
its
forms,
it
makes
us
stop
and
take
notice.
I
don’t
think
beauty
is superficial. It is essential.
Also
essential
is
our
physical
well-being.
The
most
beautiful
home
isn't
truly
beautiful
if
it
makes
you
sick.
I
use
furnishings
and
finishes
that
are
sustainable
and
free
of
certain
chemicals,
especially
where
children
and
pets
are
involved.
These
sustainable
options
not
only
keep
us
healthier, but also enable us to be better stewards of God's creation and of our natural resources.
Besides
designing,
I
love
to
be
of
service.
Volunteering
allows
me
to
give
back,
whether
cleaning
up
litter,
picking
produce
for
church
pantries,
or
working
with
animals
and
the
homeless.
Others
do
so
much
more
than
I,
and
they
inspire
me.
I
strive
to
make
a
difference,
even
in
small
ways,
to
both my community and to my clients.
I look forward to working with you,
Michelle
